Advanced Tumbling for Cheerleaders and Gymnasts (Ages 12+)

Are you looking to get that aerial salto you have wanted for your beam routine?   How about that round-off salto tuck, layout or full for your to put you at the top of the class in your cheerleading program?   Front and back walkovers for your dance acro?  This program is just for you.

This program is customized to the needs of the individual athletes by doing a goal-setting interview with the coach at the beginning of each session.  Drills and conditioning are tailored to each registered athlete.  

As a popular for cheerleaders, dancers and for cross-training for other sports (hockey, lacrosse, dance), this program focuses on intermediate and advanced tumbling techniques and is not open to beginners. 

Note: Edmonton Acro Competitive Team athletes that meet the pre-requisites may be permitted to participate with a minimum age exemption with head coach approval.

This program is not intended for beginners. Please ensure you meet the following pre-requisites prior to registering.

Athletes must have some experience in a previous gymnastics, cheer or dance program.
Athletes must be able to:
Power hurdle
Clean round-off – with rebound (Important)
Cartwheel with straight legs
Unassisted front and back walkover
Assisted round-off back handspring connected
Unassisted back handspring using spotting apparatus (eg. boulder or barrel mat)
Assisted running front Handspring
Unassisted front handspring using spotting apparatus (eg. boulder or barrel mat)

*First payment includes the first calendar month of classes based on your start date. First month price does not include $35 annual registration and processing. Monthly Price varies depending on registration date. It is calculated based on the number of classes after the first calendar month, split into equal monthly payments.
